Tours - ITINERARY “On the caravan ways” Tashkent-Urgench-Khiva-Bukhara-Nurata-Base Camp (Kizilkum desert )-Samarkand-Tashkent
Tour duration: 11 days/10 nights
Day 1: Arrive Tashkent
Arrive in Tashkent International Airport, meet the local guide and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Afternoon city tour of Tashkent with visits to: Khast Imam Complex - the main religious center, consisting of Abubakr Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum, Tilla Sheikh Mosque, Barakkhan Madrassah and the library of Uzbekistan Muslim Board where the VII century original Holy Koran Book is kept.
Madrassah Kukeldash and oriental domed bazaar of Chorsu, Museum of Applied Arts. Dinner.
Overnight in 4* hotel.
Day 2: Tashkent – Urgench - Khiva
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the domestic airport for the morning flight to Urgench (1, 5 hrs of flight time). Upon arrival at Urgench airport, drive to Khiva which is 30 km away from Urgench , hotel check-in. A visit to the famous Ichan Kala (inner fortress of ancient Khiva) – “a museum in the open” with its historical and architectural monuments of: Muhammad Aminkhan Madrassah, Kalta Minar (short minaret), Kunya Ark Fortress, Muhammad Rahimkhan Madrassah, Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum, Islam Khodja Madrassah & Minaret, Jume (Friday) Mosque, Tosh Hovli Palace and etc.
Dinner. Overnight in 3* hotel.
Day 3: Khiva - Bukhara
After breakfast in the hotel, drive to Bukhara (470 km, 7 hrs of drive). Stop en route to view the Amudarya River. Picnic lunch en route. Arrive Bukhara and hotel check-in. Free time.
Dinner. Overnight in 3* hotel.
Day 4: Bukhara
Breakfast in the hotel. Full day of city tour in Bukhara: Samanids Mausoleum, Chashma Ayub Mausoleum, the Ark Fortress, Bolo Hauz Mosque. Lunch. Afternoon sightseeing of Bukhara: Poi Kalyan Complex with Minaret and Mosque Kalyan, an active Miri-Arab Madrassah, Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan Madrassah, Magoki Attori Mosque, ancient domed trading bazaars of Toki Zargaron, Toki Telpak Furushon, Toki Sarrafon, Lyabi Hauz Complex, and dinner. Overnight in 3* hotel.
Day 5: Bukhara
Breakfast in the hotel. A day of sightseeing outside Bukhara: summer residence of the last emir of Bukhara – Sitorai Mokhi Khosa, Necropolis of Chor Bakr, Bahautdin Nakshbandi Complex of Mausolems, Mosque Baland, Chor Minar Madrassah, Kosh Madrassah.
Folk Show in Nadir Divanbegi Madrassah with dinner.
Overnight in 3* hotel.
Day 6: Bukhara – Nurata – Base Camp (Kizilkum desert)
Breakfast in the hotel. Drive from Bukhara to Nurata – a town-oasis in the desert (185 км.). A short sightseeing in Nurata: Nur-Ota Mausoleum, Juma Mosque, ruins of the fortress walls from the period of Alexander the Great. Drive on to the base camp (85 km.), located in the desert, 8 km away from Aydarkul lake and equipped with electricity, modern toilet and shower. There are more than ten yurts- nomadic huts. Check-in into the yurts. Dinner.
Enjoy this night at the fire with so called “akin”- a local folk singer.
Day 7: Base Camp - Samarkand
After breakfast, in case clients wish, a visit to the Aydarkul lake either by walking or on camels will be arranged (approximately 8km.) where you can swim in the lake and have picnic lunch.
Afternoon drive to Samarkand (300 km.). Arrive Samarkand and hotel check-in. Dinner.
Overnight in 3* hotel.
Day 8: Samarkamd
Breakfast in the hotel. Full day of Samarkand city tour: Registan Square, Ulugbek’s Observatory, Museum of Afrosiyab, Gur Emir Mausoleum, Bibi Khanim Mosque , Shahi Zinda Necropolis, Dinner. Overnight in 3* hotel.
Day 9: Samarkand - Tashkent
Breakfast in the hotel. Morning visits to Holy Daniel’s grave и bazaar. Afternoon drive to Tashkent (330 km). Arrive Tashkent and hotel check-in. Dinner. Overnight in 4* hotel.
Day 10: Tashkent
Breakfast in the hotel. Half day of Tashkent city tour: Theatre Square, Independence Square, Abul Kasim Madrassah, a visit to Tashkent Metro. Afternoon is free on your own . Dinner. Overnight in 4* hotel.
Day 11: Depart Tashkent
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Depart Tashkent.
