Location: This tour is held in Jizzakh, Samarkand, Bukhara and Tashkent regions of Uzbekistan

Best time to travel: end of April – May – beginning of June

Duration: 6 to10 days

Flora and fauna of Uzbekistan are very wealthy and various. The birdwatching tour is held in different climatic zones of Uzbekistan, from forest and sub-alpine zone of western Tyan-Shan in Chimgan hills at altitude of 1500-2200m, to the Kizilkum desert and water floods and lakes in southern territory of Bukhara.

This tour successfully combines the ancient monuments of The Great Silk Road in magnificent Samarkand and Bukhara and varied fauna of birds in the Valley of Zerafshan River. Also, a visit to the big water reserve of Tudakul and wetlands of Amu-Bukhara canal located west of Bukhara. In all birdwatching areas, besides the typical species of birds, a big number of other species of migrant birds nesting in northern regions of Siberia and high mountains can also be found in spring.
